B1 League top team - Tochigi B. (26-7) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Niigata A. (9-24) 86-48. They outrebounded Niigata A. 47-23 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was swingman Shuhei Kitagawa (185-85) who scored 23 points. American power forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 8 points and 16 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American-North Macedonian power forward Richard Hendrix (203-86, college: Alabama) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Tochigi B. maintains first place with 26-7 record. Niigata A. lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 24 games lost. Tochigi B.'s next round opponent will be again Niigata A. (#9) at home and are hoping to win another game.
