Regular Season Round 15: Kazygurt - Bars 55-62

The game between Top Four teams took place in Shymkent. Second-best host Kazygurt (11-4) lost to leader Bars (12-0) 62-55. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kazygurt. Bars forced 22 Kazygurt turnovers. It was a great evening for power forward Maksim Nalagov (198-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Artem Kozyrkin (185-98) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Alymzhan Maksutov (180-94) with 12 points and 7 rebounds and forward Aleksei Vereshagin (200-92) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bars have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Kazygurt at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Bars are looking forward to face Irtysh (#5) in Pavlodar in the next round. Kazygurt will have a break next round.
