Regular Season Round 35: Sendai 89ers - Koshigaya A. 63-75

An interesting game for Koshigaya A. (22-11) which played road game in Sendai against 4th placed Sendai 89ers (20-15). Third ranked Koshigaya A. managed to get a 12-point victory 75-63. American players dominated the game. Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: App State) contributed with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Swingman LeBryan Nash (201-92, college: OK State) answered with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Sendai 89ers. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Koshigaya A. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 22-11 record having thirteen points less than leader Saga B. Sendai 89ers at the other side still keep top position with 15 games lost. They share it with Saga B.. Koshigaya A. are looking forward to face Fukushima (#5) at home in the next round. Sendai 89ers will play against the league's second-placed Ibaraki R.
