Regular Season Round 8: Fubon Braves - Pilots 102-79

An exciting game was when First ranked Fubon Braves faced second-ranked Pilots. Fubon Braves (8-1) smashed Pilots (5-3) 102-79. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pilots. Fubon Braves players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 20 rebounds. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 17 rebounds and American guard Davon Reed (198-95, college: Miami, FL) added 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Pilots. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fubon Braves maintains first position with 8-1 record. Pilots at the other side keep the second place with three games lost. Fubon Braves will again play against league's second-placed Pilots in Taoyuan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pilots will have a break next round.
