Regular Season Round 31: Aomori W. - Kagawa FA 84-91

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 7th ranked Aomori W.'s (4-26) home loss to sixth ranked Kagawa FA (14-18) 84-91 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Kagawa FA especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) fired a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Takayuki Kodama (166-92) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Daichi Shimoyama (181-89) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kagawa FA maintains sixth place with 14-18 record. Aomori W. lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 26 games lost. Kagawa FA will have a break next round. Aomori W. will play again at home against Kagawa FA (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
