An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Nagoya. First ranked Toyota A. faced 4th placed Toyota B SR. Host Toyota A. (10-1) defeated guests from Aichi (4-7) 105-87. Toyota A. made 20-of-21 charity shots (95.2 percent) during the game. Toyota A. outrebounded Toyota B SR 48-31 including 21 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Moeko Nagaoka (182-93) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Asuka Hirasue (163-98) answered with 20 points and 4 assists and Miki Sasaka (178-98) added 16 points in the effort for Toyota B SR. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Toyota A.. They maintain first place with 10-1 record.
