Regular Season Round 26: Samsung Th. - DB Promy 75-81

Bottom-ranked DB Promy managed to get a eighth victory, breaking the two-game losing streak. This time they won against seventh-ranked Samsung Th. in Seoul 81-75. DB Promy players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American forward Justin Knox (206-89, college: UNC) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and international center Jongkyu Kim (207-91) supported him with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) did not help to save the game for Samsung Th.. Guard Gwan-Hee Lee (190-88) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. DB Promy maintains tenth position with 8-21 record. Samsung Th. at the other side keeps the seventh place with 15 games lost. DB Promy will play against higher ranked LG Sakers (#9) in Changwon in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Samsung Th. will play on the road against KT Sonicboom in Busan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
