Regular Season Round 28: FE Nagoya - Sendai 89ers 66-78

The biggest surprise of round 28 in B2 League was guest Sendai 89ers' (17-11) road victory over one of their biggest challengers FE Nagoya (16-12) 78-66 on Monday evening. Sendai 89ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Eric Jacobsen (208-94, college: ASU) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 7 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sendai 89ers moved-up to third place. FE Nagoya at the other side dropped to the second position with 12 games lost. They share it with Fukuoka R.. Sendai 89ers are looking forward to face Rizing (#3) in Fukuoka in the next round, which may be the game of the day. FE Nagoya will play on the road against Fukushima and is hoping to win this game.
