Very important is a road loss of third ranked Koshigaya A. (16-10) against fifth ranked Kumamoto V. (13-13) on Sunday night. Visiting Koshigaya A. was defeated by Kumamoto V. in a tough game in Kumamoto 85-90. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Koshigaya A.. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Kumamoto V. moved-up to fourth place which they share with defeated Koshigaya A. Loser Koshigaya A. dropped to the fourth position with ten games lost. Kumamoto V. will meet Yamagata (#6) on the road in the next round. Koshigaya A. will play against Kagawa FA in Takamatsu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
