Regular Season Round 27: Yokohama BC - Shiga L-Stars 75-71

The game in Yokohama was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Shiga L-Stars (10-17) played at the court of eighth ranked Yokohama BC (10-17). Yokohama BC managed to secure a 4-point victory 75-71 on Sunday. It was a good game for American forward Robert Carter (206-94, college: Maryland) who led his team to a victory with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Czech Patrik Auda (204-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Australian center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Shiga L-Stars. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Yokohama BC moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Shiga L-Stars and Shinshu BW. Yokohama BC will face Hokkaido L. (#10) in Saporro in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Shiga L-Stars will play at home against Hitachi Sunrockers (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
