An interesting game took place in Seoul where 6th ranked Samsung Th. (13-13) was upset on its own court by ninth ranked LG Sakers (10-16) 84-77. LG Sakers made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Samsung Th. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Leon Williams (203-86, college: Ohio) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 19 rebounds. Guard Wongsang Yun (185-98) contributed with 13 points for the winners. American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import forward Kennedy Meeks (208-95, college: UNC, agency: Network Sports International) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Samsung Th.Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. LG Sakers maintains ninth place with 10-16 record. Samsung Th. at the other side keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost. LG Sakers' next round opponent will be higher ranked Anyang KGC (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
