The game between third ranked Anyang KGC (14-11) and tenth ranked DB Promy (7-19) was the most important one in the last round on Thursday night. Anyang KGC was crushed by DB Promy in Anyang 89-67. DB Promy shot 60.3 percent from the field. DB Promy had a 31-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American forward Yante Maten (203-96, college: Georgia) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Kyungmin Doo (184-91) helped adding 13 points and 8 assists. Five DB Promy players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-91) responded with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Chris McCullough (208-95, college: Syracuse) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. DB Promy maintains tenth place with 7-19 record. Anyang KGC at the other side keeps the third position with 11 games lost. DB Promy are looking forward to face higher ranked SK Knights (#8) in Seoul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Anyang KGC will play at home against LG Sakers (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
