Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Amman: Al Wihdat (#2) and Orthodox (#5). Al Wihdat (8-2) won against visiting Orthodox (3-7) 81-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Orthodox. It was a great shooting night for Al Wihdat especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Guard Ahmad Nader (190) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Majdi Al-Ghazawi (183-93) chipped in 19 points during the contest. At the losing side international guard Ashraf Al-Hendi (190-95) responded with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Yousef Al-Awamleh scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Al Wihdat have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 8-2 record behind leader Al Ahli. Orthodox at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost.
