The game in Tokyo supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Rizing (15-11) played at the court of 7th ranked Tokyo Z (4-22). Rizing smashed Tokyo Z 91-70 on Sunday. Rizing dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Z's 26 and made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Rizing forced 22 Tokyo Z turnovers and outrebounded them 35-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import forward Jahmar Thorpe (198-84, college: Houston) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Rizing players scored in double figures. American power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Yusuke Okada (185-84) added 21 points and 4 steals in the effort for Tokyo Z. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Rizing have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with FE Nagoya. Tokyo Z lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 22 games lost. Rizing will face Aomori W. (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Tokyo Z will play against the league's leader Saga B. and hope to win that game.
