Regular Season Round 22: ET Land - Anyang KGC 78-73

The most important game in the last round took place in Inchon between second ranked Anyang KGC (14-10) and sixth ranked ET Land (13-12) on Sunday night. Anyang KGC was defeated by ET Land in a tough game on the road 73-78. ET Land made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. ET Land outrebounded Anyang KGC 38-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. International guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-95) contributed with 15 points and 6 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-91) replied with 16 points and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-91) added 14 points in the effort for Anyang KGC. Five Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. ET Land moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus and Samsung Th. Anyang KGC at the other side dropped to the third position with ten games lost. ET Land is looking forward to face league's leader KCC Egis in Jeonju in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Anyang KGC will play at home against DB Promy and is hoping to win this game.
