The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Al-Najma (2-1) in Nuwaidrat on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Al-Nweidrat (3-1) 81-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al-Najma. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Al-Nweidrat made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Al-Najma turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Serbian center Mile Ilic (215-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Hussain Hasan who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. Al-Nweidrat have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad. Al-Najma at the other side dropped to the sixth position with one game lost. Al-Nweidrat is looking forward to face Sitra (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al-Najma will play against the league's second-placed Al-Ahli and is hoping to win this game.
Very significant was Al-Ittihad's (#5) 74-70 road victory against 7th ranked Al-Hala. The winners were led by American forward Antwan Wilkerson (201-91, college: Johnson C. Smith) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points and 22 rebounds and Hassan Helal supported him with 10 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Even a double-double of 28 points and 21 rebounds by American-Lebanese center Loren Woods (218-78, college: Arizona) did not help to save the game for Al-Hala. Al-Hala's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Al-Ittihad (3-1) moved-up to second place, which they share with Al-Ahli and Al-Nweidrat. Al-Hala at the other side keeps the seventh position with two games lost. Al-Ittihad will play against league's leader Al-Muharraq in Al Muharraq in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al-Hala will play on the road against Al-Bahrain (#10) in Manama and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Premier League top team - Al-Muharraq (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Samaheej (0-4) in Manama 113-45. It was a very good performance for Jordan Richard who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 30 rebounds and 8 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Al-Muharraq have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Samaheej at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Al-Muharraq's next round opponent will be Al-Ittihad (#3) in Manama, which may be the game of the day. Samaheej will play against Al-Riffa (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 4 Al-Ahli destroyed Isa Town on the opponent's court 104-47.

Al-Nweidrat - Al-Najma 81-69

Al-Bahrain has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. Isa Town - Al-Ahli 47-104

Very expected game in Issa Town where 10th ranked Isa Town (1-3) was crushed by sixth ranked Al-Ahli (3-1) 104-47. Al-Ahli dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Isa Town's 28. They outrebounded Isa Town 50-28 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al-Ahli players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Isa Town's players. It was a very good performance for American forward Quinton Doggett (206-90, college: Southern) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds. The former international forward Hesham Sarhan (-92) contributed with a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Five Al-Ahli players scored in double figures. Hassan Ramadhan replied with 8 points and Mansoor Jaber added 10 points in the effort for Isa Town.
