The Second Stage in Premier League just started.

Al Ahli defeated Al Hala in Manama 84-77. Al Hala will play next round against strong Nuwaidrat trying to get back on the winning streak. Al Ahli will try to continue on its current victory against Al Najma. It will be extra interesting game as Al Najma is their local rival from Manama.
Nuwaidrat (0-1) recorded a loss on the court of Al Muharraq. Visitors were defeated by Al Muharraq 86-71. Al Muharraq will play against Al Manama on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nuwaidrat will play against Al Hala in Muharraq and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game was also tough home loss of Al Najma in a game versus undefeated Al Manama (#3) 76-61. Al Manama will meet at home Al Muharraq (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Al Najma will play against Al Ahli and hope to win that game.
A very interesting game took place in Manama. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of Al Ittihad (0-1) to Al Bahrain (1-0) 60-58 on Wednesday evening. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
