The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and even winless team recording their first victory.

Round 9 most important game was a victory of Issa Town over 7th ranked Al Ittihad 80-75 on Wednesday night. Issa Town (3-5) moved-up to seventh place. Al Ittihad at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Issa Town are looking forward to face Al Bahrain (#9) in Manama in the next round. Al Ittihad will play on the road against Sitra and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Al Muharraq. Leader Al Manama (8-0) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Al Muharraq (5-3) 84-81 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al Muharraq. Undefeated Al Manama have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 8-0 record. Al Muharraq at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Al Manama will play against league's second-placed Al Hala in Muharraq in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al Muharraq will play at home against Al Ahli and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Al Ahli (6-2) against fifth ranked Nuwaidrat (6-2) on Tuesday night. Host Al Ahli was defeated by Nuwaidrat in a tough game in Manama 65-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al Ahli. Nuwaidrat moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Al Ahli. Nuwaidrat will meet at home Samaheej (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Ahli will play against Al Muharraq (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Samaheej's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after seven consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Manama, where they defeated Al Bahrain (1-7) 77-61. Samaheej left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Sitra and Al Bahrain. It was Al Bahrain's fifth loss in a row. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Manama, where they defeated Al Bahrain (1-7) 77-61. Samaheej left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Sitra and Al Bahrain. It was Al Bahrain's fifth loss in a row.
