Marcus Bell
Al Rayyan Doha (D1) signed 26-year old American center Marcus Bell (206-102kg-90, college: CS Stanislaus). He already started the season at Sitra Club in Bahrain Premier League. Bell also played earlier that season for Uhud (SBL) in Saudi Arabian league. The other team he played shortly was US Ansar (Division I) in Tunisian league. Bell also spent pre-season at Denver-FAS San Salvador in Salvadorean Liga MB earlier that year where in four Premier League games he had very impressive stats: 17.8ppg, 19.8rpg and 3.3apg this season.
Two years ago he was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (D-League) in fifth round (85th overall).
Bell attended Cal.St.-Stanislaus (NCAA Div.II) until 2014 and it is his third season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of COCABA for Clubs in 2015. Bell was also voted Daktronics NCAA D2 All-West Region 1st Team in 2014 at his college time.
Bell has played on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Mexico (Frayles de Guasave), ABA (S.Francisco R.) and El Salvador (Aguila).
