Premier League Round 6: Al Ittihad records their first victory - Nov 18, 2016

Al Ittihad has finally registered their first victory this season after four consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Al Muharraq (3-2) on the road game in Al Muharraq 73-67 on Thursday. Al Ittihad (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Al Bahrain. Al Muharraq at the other side keeps the fifth position with two games lost.
Premier League top team - Al Manama (5-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Sitra (1-5) 113-43. Undefeated Al Manama have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 5-0 record, which they share with Nuwaidrat. Sitra at the other side dropped to the tenth place with five games lost.

In the last two games of round 6 Al Bahrain lost to undefeated Nuwaidrat on the opponent's court 48-61. Al Najma managed to outperform Issa Town in a home game 80-67.

Sitra - Al Manama 43-113

Premier League top team - Al Manama (5-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Sitra (1-5) 113-43. Al Manama have an impressive five-game winning streak. Nuwaidrat - Al Bahrain 61-48

Very expected game when 8th ranked Al Bahrain (1-4) was defeated on the road by top-ranked Nuwaidrat (5-0) 61-48. Nuwaidrat have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Al Manama. Al Bahrain at the other side keeps the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Al Ittihad.

Everything could happen in Manama at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Al Najma and 7th ranked Issa Town had identical 2-3 record. This time Al Najma used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Issa Town 80-67. Al Najma maintains sixth position with 3-3 record. Newly promoted Issa Town keeps the seventh place with four games lost.
