Newly promoted Al Ittihad (Premier League) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American forward Antwan Wilkerson (201-100kg-91, college: Johnson C. Smith). He played most recently at Al Salam in Saudi Arabia SBL league and was one of best imports there last season.
The previous (2015) summer Wilkerson played at Bolmar (Libobasquet) in Bolivia league.
His team was regular season runner-up in CIAA Southern Division in 2012.
Wilkerson has played also professionally in Cyprus (Omonia).
He attended Johnson C. Smith University until 2014 and it will be his third season as a professional player.

The most exciting game of round 14 in the Premier League took place in Muharraq. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 6th ranked Al-Hala (8-5) to second ranked Al-Ahli (11-2) 80-79 on Thursday evening. He had a double-double of 33 points and 30 rebounds, while his team beat Al-Muharraq (#4, 8-3) 84-79. Al-Hala maintains the 5th position in Bahrain league.
