The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with derby games and favorites losing the games.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Al Hala as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Al Hala defeated 9th ranked Al Ittihad in Muharraq 81-68. Undefeated Al Hala (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Muharraq. Al Ittihad lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. Al Ittihad will play next round against strong Al Manama trying to get back on the winning streak. Al Hala will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Muharraq in Al Muharraq.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Manama: Al Manama (#6) and Bahrain Club (#8). Al Manama (5-2) crushed visiting Bahrain Club (2-5) by 35 points 77-42. The victory was the third consecutive win for Al Manama. They moved-up to fourth place. Bahrain Club at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with Nuwaidrat. Al Manama's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Manama to the arena Al Ittihad.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Al Muharraq. Leader Muharraq faced 4th placed Issa Town. Host Muharraq (7-0) defeated guests from Issa Town (4-3) 100-82. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Muharraq. They maintain first place with 7-0 record, which they share with Al Hala. Loser Issa Town dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Sitra and Hidd. Muharraq will meet at home league's leader Al Hala in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Issa Town will play against Sitra (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Hidd moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Issa Town and Sitra. Samaheej lost their seventh game in a row. Samaheej at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with seven games lost. Hidd's next round opponent will be Bahrain Club (#8) in Manama. Loser Sitra keeps the fifth position with three games lost. Nuwaidrat will face higher ranked Al Ahli (#3) in Manama in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sitra will play on the road against Issa Town and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
