Al Manama did not find any serious contest in the last game in round 3 last night and defeated Issa Town club with new young faces in the team after the famed strike for three of Al Manama and National team key players Hussain Mohammed (PG), Ahmed Aziz (90) and Hassan Nawrooz because of financial disputes. Game ended 87-61 for Al Manama, Patrick Simpson (206-F-83, college: SMU) scored 26 points for Al Manama and Dominique Lacy (201-F-89, college: NC-Wilmington) scored the same for Issa Town team.
In the game before that, Sitra Club missed the change to win against Al Hala club after the last second 3 point failed attempt for Sitra Club key player Mohammed Kowayed. Game ended 64-62 for Al Hala club.
Hidd club continued the great effort and defeated Nuwaidrat club in round three by the result 70-63. Al Muharraq club the champion of last season was able to keep up with Al Najma club youngs fast attacks and take the lead by experience and defeated Al Najma by the result 91-66.
Al Ahli Manama club appeared shaky and defeated Al Ittihad club with less effort specialy after loosing the effort for thier point guard Hussain Shaker who is demanding more salary from Al Ahli Manama club after getting a good offer from Sitra Club club. Game ended bye the result 61-42. In the competition on the rear between Samaheej club and Bahrain Club, the game ended for Bahrain Club in last seconds with different of 2 points. Game ended 51-49.
After the end of 3rd round, 4 big teams remained undefeated and they are sharing the top between each other, those teams are Al Manama, Al Muharraq, Al Hala and Al Ahli Manama.

Al Hala (Premier League) inked 27-year old American center Todd O'Brien (211-110kg-89, college: UAB). He played in the summer at Sagesse in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. Austin Daye (ex Al Manama) joins Galatasaray - 27 days ago

Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul (BSL) agreed terms with 28-year old American forward Austin Daye (211-92kg-88, college: Gonzaga, agency: Alti Sport). He played last season at Al Manama in Bahrain Premier League. He helped them to make it to the final. Daye also played for VL Pesaro (Serie A) in Italian league that season.
