Bahrain - Qatar 64:74

Qatar defended their Gulf Cup title. They overcame Bahrain to celebrate the fifth straight title in Manama. Boney Watson (183-PG-78, college: Sam Houston St.) came up with 20 points to lead the visitors.
Qatar earned a 20:15 lead after ten minutes of action. They maintained it throughout the second frame. Qatar secured a 38:31 halftime advantage. They boosted the margin in the third term. The visitors entered the fourth frame up by 9 points. Bahrain failed to turn things around in the final period and had to surrender at the end. Erfan Ali (198-PF-83) notched 16 points, while Yasseen Ismail (204-F/C-80) had 12 points for Qatar. Mohammed Hassan (194-F/G-80) answered with 18 points for Bahrain. Bader Abdulla Malabes (87) and Chester Giles (211-F/C-85, college: Oregon St.) netted 15 and 13 points respectively in defeat.

Manama crash out - May 21, 2016

Manama's hopes of winning the 36th GCC Basketball Clubs Championship title were shattered last night when they lost to Qatar's Al Rayyan 97-85 in the semi-final played at Al Ahli Club in Dubai. The quarters scores were 22-23, 24-23, 19-25, 32-14. Manama book berth in semis - May 19, 2016

Manama crushed Nizwa of Oman 99-59 in the second round of the 36th GCC Basketball Clubs Championship played yesterday at Al Ahli Club in Dubai. With the win, Manama advanced to the semi-final round, and will next face Qatar's Al Rayyan who defeated Ohod of Saudi Arabia 94-57 also yesterday. Manama beat UAE's Al Wasl - May 17, 2016

Manama claimed a third consecutive win by beating Al Wasl of the UAE 85-65 to complete their first round matches in Group 'A' of the 36th GCC Basketball Clubs Championship played last night at Al Ahli Club in Dubai.
