Bahrain registered the third consecutive win at the Arabian Gulf Cup in Manama. They knocked down Oman to stay undefeated. Oman suffered the second straight loss at the tourney.
Bahrain stormed into the game. They posted a 28:6 lead after ten minutes of action. Bahrain slowed down in the second quarter but still managed to pile up a 44:12 halftime lead. Bahrain maintained the pressure and ensured a 59:23 lead at the final break. The hosts did not look back in the fourth frame posting a well-deserved victory at the end. Mohammed Hassan (194-F/G-80) stepped up with 15 points for Bahrain. Bader Abdulla Malabes (87) and Ahmed Al Dirazi delivered 12 points apiece in the victory. Mohmood Abdulla responded with 10 points for Oman. Ali Al Sobahi added 8 points in the losing effort.
