Syria U18-Bahrain U18 80:70

Syria beat Bahrain at the start of the Classification games for 9-12 places. Syria won 80:70 and will play for the 9th place against India. The play-offs are scheduled for Saturday.
Syria started the game with 16-14 and added 19-17 in the second frame. Both teams scored 23 points each in offensive third period as the board showed 58:54 after three quarters. Syria came up with 22-16 in the last stanza and sealed the victory.
Mahmmoud Trub (195-F-94) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and Ali Obesi (188-F-94) nailed 20. Okba Baghajati (182-G-94) delivered 14, while Mohamad Atle (199-C-95) added 8. Ali Hassan Shukralla finished the game with 20 points and 13 rebounds in defeat and Ali Sayed Hasan (182-F-94) also scored 20. Mohammed Buallay (185-F-95) posted 12, whilst Mahamed Naser (191-F-97) chipped in with 9.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Ahli (2-1) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Al Manama (3-0) 81-65. The game without a history. Newly promoted Al Noor Mecca (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American forward Antwan Wilkerson (201-100kg-91, college: Johnson C. Smith). There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Second Stage in Premier League. Al Manama defeated Al Muharraq at home 85-80. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Al Muharraq won third quarter 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
