Bahrain U18-Iran U18 76:87

Iran beat Bahrain for 3-0 record in Group F at the 22nd FIBA Asia U18 Championship. The team celebrated a 87:76 win in Day 4 of the competition.
Iran won the first period 21-16 and continued to dominate the court in the second quarter. They added 25-18 in it for 46:34 advantage at the halftime. Bahrain started to play better in the second half and as a result both teams scored 16 points each in the third period.Moreover Bahrain won the last stanza 26-25 and reduced to final 11 points.
Mohammad Sistani (181-G-86) top-scored for the winners with 26 points and Behnam Yakhchali (191-G-95) nailed 17. Aliyar Najafikharaji (189-SG-94) delivered 10, while Vahid Dalirzahan (199-SF-95) posted 9. Ali Melad (171-F-94) ended up with 19 points in defeat and Sayed Hasan Ali notched 16. Mohammed Buallay (185-F-95) finished the game with 12 points, while Abbas Abdulrasool (196-C-94) scored 7.

MANAMA bowed to Al Shabab of the UAE 93-102 last night to close out the group stage in the 37th GCC Clubs Basketball Championships being played in Bahrain.
