Taiwan U18 - Bahrain U18 94:61

Taiwan celebrated the third straight win at the U18 Asia Championship. They knocked down Bahrain to clinch the top position in Group C. Bahrain fell at 1-2 record after the loss.
Taiwan surged ahead early in the game. They posted a 22:13 lead ten minutes into the encounter. Bahrain bounced back in the second quarter. They cut the deficit to a single point 36:35 at halftime. But the second half belonged to Taiwan. They fired 25 points in the third quarter to clear off at 13-point mark. Taiwan erupted for 33 points in the final period and sealed a comfortable win at the end. Wu Chia-Chun (178-PG-94), Huang Tsun-Han (193-F-94) and Lin Kuan-Chun (184-G-95) finished with 14 points each for the winners. Shukralla Ali Hassan answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds for Bahrain. Mahamed Naser (191-F-97) netted 15 points in the loss.

Galatasaray could land Austin Daye, ex Al Manama - 1 day ago

Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul (BSL) is close to sign 28-year old American forward Austin Daye (211-92kg-88, college: Gonzaga, agency: Alti Sport) who played last time at Al Manama in Bahrain. He helped them to make it to the final. Daye also played at VL Pesaro (Serie A) in Italian league that season. In 21 games he was the best scorer with impressive 21.2ppg and had 9.0rpg (#2 in the league), 1.9apg, 1.6spg and 1.1bpg last season. Al Ahli (Premier League) inked 29-year old forward Mohammed Qurban (187-87). It is actually his comeback to Manama as he played here before. Qurban has played for the last three years at Al Manama (Premier League). He helped them to win the cup. Qurban represented Bahrain at the Gulf Club Championships Semifinals last year. Ostioneros de Guaymas (CIBACOPA) landed 32-year old American forward Travis Garrison (203-107kg-84, college: Maryland). He moved there from Al Bahrain in Bahrain Premier League where he started the season. Garrison also played at Naglis Palangos (NKL) in Lithuanian league that season.
