Al Riyadi Beirut of Lebanon
deserved to be 1st in 19th Arab Clubs Championship which ended yesterday
in Rabat, Morocco after they won over Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia by
24 points 99-75, While RCA Casablanca took third after winning over Al
Kuwait Club of Kuwait 77-72.
Al Riyadi Beirut - Ittihad Jeddah
Calvin Warner (201-F/C-80, college:
Jacksonville) played his best game ever with Al Riyadi Beirut and
led his team to win over Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia 99-75.
Calvin scored from all the ranges and places inside or outside the zone
and helped Ismail Ahmad and Joe Vogel to lead in the 1st quarter by 16
points 35-19.
In the 2nd quarter, Omar Turk and Ali Mahmoud made a big job in defense
and supplying their team-mates with easy balls to score from and tha
made them be the leaders of most parts of the game, 2nd quarter finished
with 20 points lead 59-39.
The 3rd quarter, Al Riyadi Beirut's head coach Fouad Abu Shakra played
with Mazen Mneimneh and he made good game, But Ittihad Jeddah made the
score range only 13 in the last of this quarter 62-75, But Al Riyadi
Beirut replied quickly and made the range bigger and bigger till it
arrived to 24 at last 99-75.

5 points difference was enough to give RCA Casablanca the 3rd place
award after beating Al Kuwait Club of Kuwait 77-72.
The 1st quarter was for the kuwaitis in playing and in the scoreboard
after good performanc from Osama Al Farhan and Chudney Gray who signed
for Champville of Lebanon to play in the final 4 only, The quarter ended
20-12 for Al Kuwait.
Things changed in 2d quarter, The control board went to RCA Casablanca
who finished the quarter for them 36-35 after huge effort from Hisham
Amru Allah and Adnan Musa'dieh.
The 3rd quarter was having changing in leading from time to time, But
RCA Casablanca lost the race bt 3 points 57-60, But the last quarter
esspecially in the last two minutes was for the Moroccans who were
supported by big number of fans to end the game by 5 points for them.

Lebanese Al Riyadi Beirut
and Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia succeeded to qualify to the final of
19th Arab Clubs, Al Riyadi Beirut qualified after beating RCA Casablanca
in Semi-Final 95-63, While Ittihad beated Al Kuwait 90-84 in the other
semi-final game.
Al Riyadi Beirut - RCA Casablanca
32 points were between RCA Casablanca and Al Riyadi Beirut who won the
game 95-63 in a one side game despite that the moroccan team played
behind his big fans in Bou Azawi court in Rabat, Morocco.
RCA Casabalanca were good oponent against Al Riyadi Beirut esspecially
in the 1st 6 minutes of the 1st quarter, But Ismail Ahmad gave his team
the lead 5 points at end 23-18.
Omar Turk (184-G-81, college:
Dawson Coll.) made 7 3-pts only in the 2nd quarter which gave his
team the lead by 25 points with help from Ismail Ahmad and Hussein Tawbe
to finishe dthe quarter 56-31.
Al Riyadi Beirut's Head Coach Fouad Abu Shakra gave his youth players as
Hasan Lakkis, Mazen Mneimneh, Ali Fakheridine & Abdallah Hijazi to play,
They kept the difference the same till the end of the game which ended
95-63 for the yellows.

In the other game of Semi-Final, Things were different as there was a
big competition game between Al Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia and
Kuwait Club from Kuwait which ended for the 1st 90-84.
The 1st quarter beginning was for Ittihad who made a big 11-0 run in the
1st 3 minutes, But the reply was quickly from the kuwaitis by scoring 8
points, But Ittihad retunrned to breathe again to finish the 1st quarter
by 7 points 28-21.
Best quarter in the game for Kuwait Club was the 2nd quarter, The
experience of Yahia Al Bahar & Chudney Gray who scored 14 points in this
quarter only to end it by 3 points lead for them 48-45.
The big effort which Kuwait club players made against ASS Sale reflects
on their perofrmance in last 2 quarter of Ittihad's game, They became
tired and fittness difference was for the saidis who won the game by 6
points only 90-84.

In the 3rd day of the
second round which began in the 6th day of Arab clubs championship which
is held in Morocco in its 19 edition, 4 games were made.......
Al Kuwait Club - ASS Sale Al Kuwait club made a fantastic result and let the hosts
of the tournament ASS Sale being out from the tournament after beating
them with big difficulty 64-63 in fron tof 4 thousad fans for ASS Sale,
By this win Al Kuwait club qualified to semi-final to meet Ittihad
Jeddah of Saudi Arabia.
The two teams began the game with balanced performance in both offense
and defense as both teams were changing the lead of the game till the
end of it except the 2nd quarter which was nearly to the kuwaitis after
the bright performance of Osama Al Farhan, Rashed Al Rabbah, Chudney
Gray and Eddie Elisma, But things returned to as it was due to the
dinamic effort from the duo Zakaria Al Misbahi and Mustapha dedush, But
Chudney Gray with his good experience gave his team the important win
and desreved the qualfication to semi-final.

Ittihad of Saudi Arabia finished the 2nd round of the tournament with a
win against the moroccan side RCA Casabalna by 8 oints 87-79.
Each team secured their apearance in semi-finals, So both teams began
slowly to play with the bench but with awarnese to not meet Al Riyadi
Beirut in the semi-game, So Ittihad Jeddah were so focused and willing
to win due to their good imports and local players esspecially
Ali Al Maghribi (200-F-75, agency:
GT Sports) who starred in this game in defense and offense and
helped the imports Art Long & Malon Parmer alot in the game.

The victims Arena who were officially out from the tournament from last
stage but they tried to play well, The team head coach Gheith Najjar
played with his imports Chad Hendrick & Clarence Thrash only in the 1st
quarters, The brothers Islam and Zeid Abbas were the best in arena's
side after scoring together 48 points for their team, While from Al
Riyadi Beirut side, Their youth player Mazen Mneimneh were doing one of
his best game sin his career in Men's games after he succeeded to make 6
3-pts shots, Clavin Warner and Ali Fakheridine played also a big game
from the lebanese team who made the range in some parts of the game 33
points, But the good effort from the brothers Abbas with Naser Bassam

Al Muharraq - Ittihad Aleppo
Bahraini Al Muharraq Club could not alter their fate in their failed bid
for the Championships, even after ending the tournament on a high with a
101-90 victory over Ittihad Aleppo Club of Syria in their final game of
the quarerfinals, played yesterday afternoon in Morocco.
Muharraq were eliminated from final-four contention after suffering two
losses on Tuesday and Wednesday against Group B teams Ettihad of Saudi
Arabia and Raja of Morocco, which meant that yesterday’s contest was a
no-bearing encounter.
Four of Muharraq’s stars finished the game in double figures, with
Mohammed Hassan leading,Rah-Shaun Robert and Hakim Mousa helped him to
make this win, while Haji Sulaiman finished with Ahmed Mutawa and Faraj
Abdulla were doing good game.
Muharraq bounced back from a poor first-quarter start to head into the
half with a 13-point lead, 48-35. They then widened their margin after
the third and built a 79-61 advantage, then finished off their rivals in
the fourth for the 101-90 win.
From Ittihad Aleppo's side, Salah Al Shawa were showing good performance
with Lamine Diawara and Earnest Bell but that did'nt help them to win
despite they joind Al Muharaq out of the tournament.

Ittihad Jeddah - Ittihad Aleppo
Ittihad Jeddah of Saudi Arabia cut officially their way to semi-final of
19th ACC after beating Ittihad Aleppo of Syria 81-66.
Ittihad Jeddah was out of shape in the 1st quarter after good
perofrmance and technic from Ittihad Aleppo's players esspecially the
team's veteran Mohammed Abu Saada and the Malian player Lamine Diawara,
But from the beginning of the 2nd quarter the saudis recollected their
papers and showed a new face with storms of offense and good defense
from them to make the lead and making big range at the same time, 12
points in the 1st half 44-32, This lead was made from Marlon Parmer, Ali
Al Maghrabi, Art Long and Adel al Juhnani.
In the last two quarters, The syrian team tried to enter the game again
and that was applied only in some parts of the 3rd quarter after making
the range from 12 to 4 only but that was for a small while, Art Long and
Marlon Parmer helped the team again to be back on track and suceeded to
finish the game by 15 points 81-66.

after beating their direct revlas to this seast Bahraini Al Muharraq by
15 points 75-60 in an average perfromance game from both sides.
Moroccan RCA Casablanca players entered more concentrated and focused
after his fan support in the court, Mounir Bou Helal, Motopenza and
Adnan Musa'dieh were doing a big games and helped their team to keep the
gap at least 8 points in most of the game, Al Muharraq's
Nigirian-Bahraini palyers Hakeem Mubarak, Faraj Abdalla made a good role
in the game for Al Muharraq and scored many important points with
Mohammed Hassan the team captain.

Al Riyadi Beirut stopped the winning streak of ASS sale the hosts in the
tournament after beating them but after big effort 95-88, By this win Al
Riyadi Beirut are now the only unbeatable team in the tournament and
secured their qualification to semi-final of the tournament.
ASS Sale fans were behind their team all the time and that made some
pressue to the titleholders who were playing well most of the time and
depressed the hosts many times and that let them to lead in important
times after good performance from Omar Turk who scored 8 3-pts, Ismail
Ahmad was the helper of the team after scoring 8 consecutive points in
the last quarter, Zakaria Al Misbahi and mustafa dedush were the best in
the moroccan side after making together 8-3pts devided equaly between

loosing from Al Kuwait club 80-75 in tough game between the both sides.
The beginning was as a hurricane for Al Kuwait club after great
communitcations between Chudney Gray, Osama Al Farhan and

Georgia Tech) which made Arena players freezed with doing a weak
defense.
Arena's Nidal Shareef, Naser Bassam and Clarence Thrash were doing good
game in everything but their team-mates did'nt let them to achive their
goals.
Yahia Al Bahar the veteran player in Al Kuwait club were a star after
scoring 5-3pts in the game.
The qualifier to the semi-final with Al Riyadi will be decided in
today's game between Al Kuwait and ASS Sale club as the both teams has
same chances to qualify to the second round despite ASS favourity as
they are playing in their court and behind their fans.

their 1st win in 2nd round of the tournament over Kuwaiti club Al Kuwait

Al Kuwait began strongley in the 1st quarter but that was'nt for a long
time as the lebanese began to enter the game quickly after the big
performance from Calvin Warner, Ismail Ahmad and
Ali Mahmoud (182-G-83).
In the last two quarters, The lebanese began to increase the score to
make it 30 but Al Kuwait club players tried their best and succeeded to
make the range only 19 at last 95-66.

Arena began the game with great performance,The most active were Chad

rest quarters as the moroccan team controled in all the rythem of the
game and succeeded to stop the moves of Chad and Ghazi, Mustafa Dedush
and Zakaria Al Misbahi were the best in their team as whole and helped
them to mage the gap bigger and bigger to make it 20 at last which was
the biggest range 92-72

RCA Casablanca made their 1st surprise in the tournament after beating
Ittihad Aleppo -who were the most favorite to win- by 4 points 65-61.
The moroccan team entered the game more concentrated than Ittihad Aleppo
who were like a lost in the 1st quarter.
Salah Al Shawa and Lamine Diawara were the players in the Syrian team
while from the other side, All the morrocan team players were doing big
performance esspecially from the duo Mounir Bou Helal and Adnan
Musa'dieh who succeeded to guarantee the win for the greens at the end.

with 9 points advantage 83-74......
Al Muharraq were playing more better from the saudis in the 1st quarter
after the huge effort from Mohammed Hassan and Hakeem Mubarak, But that
did'nt continue as Ittihad Jeddah played well in the 3rd and 4th quarter
and tried their best to make the gap bigger which they succeeded in that
esspecially in the 4th quarter which was one-sided most of the minutes.
Muharraq's Rah-Shun Roberts was'nt so effective at first but lastley his
move were more apeared and scored many points inside and outside,
Ittihad's Art Long and Bahraini's Ahmad Al Mutawa were fouled-out in the
game.
“The team is OK after the loss,” Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA)
Assistant Secretary General, Abdulredha Qurban said, “They came to the
game and tried their best. They have nothing to be ashamed of. I’m sure
that everybody’s OK and inshaallah, I believe we can beat Raja,” he
concluded.

Arena - Al Nasr Sabkha
Arena made their 2nd consecutive time to get best third in their group
and qualified to the 2nd round....
The team from Jordan knew how they turn the dynamic spirit of the
Mauritanian team Al Nasr Sabkha to his side as they applied a strong
defensive plan to prevent the opposite from scoring inside as the
mauritanian players are popular in strong moves with some force.
Clarence Thrash (205-C/F-72, college:
UAB)
was the team star in defense and offense esspecially in rebounds and
scoring important points with the help of Islam Abbas and sometimes his
Zeid Abbas (Islam's brother) under the baskets, In the time that Ghazi
Naber, Chad Hendrick & Naser Bassam are doing good job from outside.
Gheith Najjar Arena's head coach tried all his players in this game,
Abdalla Ramini, Louai Najjar, Nidal Shareef & Khaldoon Abu Rukayeah were
having good game also.
Mohammed Job and Bashir Timbo were the best in the mauritanian side but
that did'nt help them to end the game by 25 points range for the
jordanians 83-60.

Al Riyadi Beirut - Dohuk The game between Al Riyadi Beirut and Dohuk from Iraq
did not reach the happy ending as the Iraqi team felt so out of
competency and withdrew from its game against Riyadi who was leading
44-9 in just the first few minutes of the game and found itself obliged
to quit and race to the airport to catch a flight back to Iraq.
Al Kuwait - Ittihad Aleppo
Chudney Gray again improved that he deserves to be the best import in
this tournament after leading his team Al Kuwait from Kuwait to an
important win over Al Ittihad Aleppo 84-77, After this win they got the
2nd place in the 2nd group and left the best 3rd place to Ittihad Alppo
who qualified with Arena of Jordan as best third from three teams got
third (Al Shabab of Libya left the tournament after not choosing them to
the 2nd round).
Back to the game, Ittihad played strongley as their import Lamine
Diawara and Firas Al Masri were having good match with the veteran Ammar
Kassas who was so successful in 3-pts shooting as he score 3 3-pts in
the game, But Chudney Gray, Eddie Elisma and Salem Al Inazi said their
word at last to win the game 7 points.
Al Kuwait's Osama Al Farhan did'nt play due to small injury.

Itthad Jeddah who played with his subtitutes only lost their game over
the Algerian team WA Boufarik 73-66 in a strong game despite that.
Ittihad's coach Daniel Maffei preferred to played with the 2nd team
after they qualified officially as 1st in their 2nd group, While WA
Boufarik was searching for their 1st win in the tournament which at last
they found after the good performance from the tall player Hisham
Shargi, with Abdel Aziz Al Rabbahi & Abdel Halim Kawwan.
Saad Kaabi, Jaber Al Shamrani and Hashem Al Fotawi the players who used
to sit on the bench were starring last night and helped thier team to
decrease the score as much as they can but that did'nt let them to win
but loosing by 7 points at last.

In the 4th day of Arab
clubs championship which is held in Morocco in its 19 edition, 5 games
were made.......
Arena - Dohuk
Arena made their 1st win after 2 losses in the ACC after beating Dohuk
of Iraq 107-82 in a one side game.......
As usual, Arena began the game with Abdalla Ramini in play making, Chad
Hendrik & Ghazi Naber in the parameters and Islam Abbas with Clarence
Thrash inside the zone, While the iraqi team was depending on the moves
of Ali Ghanem, Daniel Dajic & Mattias Johansson and succeeded in some
parts to put the game to thier side but that was'nt for a long time,
Arena started to control the game by increasing to end the 1st quarter
24-18.
The subtitutions of Arena's coach Gheith Najjar gave team new spirit
after the good performance from Nidal Shareef, Khaldoon Abo Rukayeah &
Fadi Yaghmour and that let them to end the 1st half with 8 point in the
pocket 46-38.
In the last two quarters,Iraqi dohuk in the beginning tried to give the
ball to the tall center johansson to utilize his height but they did'nt
succeed after making a district move from Zeid Abbas who was behind the
big range in the last of the 3rd quarter 77-59.
After the entering of Louai Najjar, Arena remained in increasing the
score minute after minute till it arrived to 25 points at last 107-82
for the jordanian representatives. Arena now may qualify to 2nd round as
best third place , the tournament technical comittee will choose only 2
teams who took third place from the three groups, Arena and Ittihad
Aleppo of Syria are nearer to that.

Al Riyadi Beirut - Al Muharraq
Al Riyadi Beirut secured the 1st place of the Group 3 after crushing the
bahraini team Al Muharraq 125-91!!!!!
The game were managed from one side only, The 1st quarrter stars were
Omar Turk & Joe Vogel, They scored together 30 points from the 41 points
of the 1st quarter!!!!!
Ismail Ahmad the egyption pharone was saying his ward to the ryhm in the
2nd quarter,He scored from all the ranges and places inside and outside
the zone.
In the 3rd quarter the turn was to the american guy Calvin Warner the
plane who don't stop flying to the basket, He made all the styles of
dunks and Al Muharraq players are looking !!!!!!
The 4th quarter's title was for Mazen Mneimneh who started his points
from zero till the end when he made 19!!!!!
The Bahraini players were so lost and had big lack in comunications
between each other but that did'nt stop Ahmad Al Mutawa to put his name
in best performance from Al Muharraq in the game.

ASS Sale - RCA Casablanca
A local game in an arabic tournament, The two moroccan teams were face
to face to know the 1st and 2nd in the group as they qualified together
to the 2nd round, The hosts ASS Sale made it over RCA Casablanca and won
at them by 8 points 67-59.
The imports were the stars of the game from the two teams, As Sale's
import Abdoulaye Pape Sow began to score points and Motopenza the
congolese player of RCA Casablanca replies on him, And the same with
Fabrice Moussounda (ASS) and Tiam Doudou (RCA).
Adnan Musa'dieh tried to save his team from a big loss after the big
performance of the hosts who started to open all the engines to score as
much as they can to secure the 1st place of the group and they succeeded
to make it 8 points at last and qualify as 1st in the group and let RCA
Casablance to be 2nd.

Ittihad Aleppo - WA Boufarik
Ittihad Aleppo (Group 2) is around to qualify as best third along side
with Arena (Group 3) after they won on their 3rd place rivals Algerian
Widad Boufarik 91-88 in a very close game.
Syrian team's import
Lamine Diawara (206-C-71, agency:
China-Hoop) was the big boss of the game after controling in
rebounds and scoring in the both basket, The same player gave his team
the win at last by scoring nice and-one play in the last second after it
was tied 88-88.
Abdelhamid Kaouane and Garouk Djellali were so effective from WA
Boufarik as they made big role in 3rd quarter which they were leading in
is some parts from it by 7 points but they did'nt save it, Salah Al
Shawa & Earnest Bell were having good day in 3-pts shooting accuracy as
they made only 5 3-pts together in the 3rd quarter.
4th quarter was so hot as each team were having turns in scoring but at
last Lamine said his word to give Ittihad Aleppo the win by 3 points

In the 3rd day of Arab clubs championship which is held in Morocco in
its 19 edition, 5 games were made.......
Muharraq - Arena
Muharraq basketball team from Bahrain shocked the Jordanian
representative Arena and won at them 96-88.
Arena team did'nt succeed to stop the bahraini fire on the jordanian
basket and that apeared more in last two quarters by moves from the
bahraini Mohammed Hassan with naturalized players Faraj Abdalla and
Abdalla Sulaiman with the other naturalized one Hakeem Moussa.
Fadi Yaghmour was the more concentrated player in the whole game from
Arena side with some good moves from Chad Hendrick, Ghazi Naber &
Clarence Trash who was playing better from the last game and found some
more help from his team-mate under the rhym Islam Abbas.
Despite the less experience from the bahraini team in big games but the
good management from the head coach Bruce Wilson of the game and the
good lead from the point guart Abdalla Sulaiman gave them a combfortable
win by 8 points 96-88.

Ittihad Jeddah knew how to stop the waves of Al Kuwait club on their
basket from the 1st quarter despite the good performance from
Chudney Gray (190-G-78, agency:
Passing Lane, college:
St.John's), Osama Al Farhan & Eddie Elisma in transition defense and
offense but that was'nt for a long time after the nice comunication
between Marlon Parmer and Art long in most of the teams balls in the
Kuwaiti zone, That made them to increase the gap quickly,Al Kuwait team
at last began to recollect their papers and made them to make the game
tie in 8 times and in one time they made the margin 10 points in the
center of the 2nd quarter, But the expeience of Art Long and Ali Al
Maghrabi forced Osama Al Farhan make 4 fouls and that was enough to stop
his effeciency at least in defense.
In the last two quarters, Things turned for Ittihad Jeddah side as they
tried in all the ways to score esspecially from the parameters Jaber Al
Shamrani and Adel Juhani and from the centers Al Maghrabi and Art Long
who scored 3 time from 3-pts arc.

scoring most of his team's points along side with Salem Al Inazi the
young player who was more effective after Osama Al Farhan's fouls-out
but Ittihad Jeddah's concentration to win were more and ended the game
with 8 points gap 101-93.

RCA Casablanca exploded it as they had the biggest gap in the tournament
after winning 108-39 in a one sidegame!!!!!!!
RCA Casablanca were having as training session against Nezwa of Oman who
needs a long time to have the experience of the game plus they were
loosing David Akira the kenyan import due to an injury in his foot, All
that made the moroccan side have a nice trip in the omani basket
esspecially from Mounir Bouhelal and Adnan Musa'dieh who scored togther
34 points and made together everything in basketball world in ways of
play and shows of dunks,All the 12 players played in the game.
The congolese player Motopenza were singing alone as he made alone for
himself 33 points.
RCA Casablanca 108 - Nezwa 39 (30-08, 49-12,

ASS Sale the tounament hosts and Al Shabab's game main title was low
scoring as the two teams did'nt score in the whole game more than 108
points together, and the major thing that the both teams did'nt score
more than 7 points in the 2nd quarter!!!!!
Despite that the two teams were having good defense and stopped the
offensive mechines to score from the both teams, ASS Sale players were
the most effectable in the game esspecially from the Dodush Morad who
were starring for the 2nd consecutive game while from the libyan side,
Mohammed Issa and Islam Karbal played well but that did'nt help them to
win but the opposite the range became 18 at past 63-45.

In the 2nd day of Arab
clubs championship which is held in Morocco in its 19 edition, 5 games
were made.......
Al Riyadi Beirut - Arena Al Riyadi Beirut the titleholders mae their 2nd big win
in the tournament and this time against the 3rd placed in the jordanian
excellent league team Arena Amman by 35 points 113-78.
After 24 hours only from their winning against Al Nasr of Mauritania, Al
Riyadi Beirut players entered the 1st quarter without concentration
which made Arena were a good oponent for them and it was tied 5 times
before leadog by 4 points at the last 21-17 by good performance form
Calvin Warner who were doing a big game.
Al Riyadi began to control the game and that did'nt make the head coach
Fouad Abu Shakra rest some of his important players, Arena played with
all the bench also after they knew that its difficult to make a surprise
over a team as Al Riyadi Beirut with they pherone Ismail Ahmad (Soma).
Al Riyadi Beirut 113 - Arena 78 (21-17, 61-42,

Al Kuwait Club - WA Boufarik
Al Kuwait club made a big surprise in the tournament and beat one of the
most favorite teams for title Widad Boudafarik by 4 points 81-77.
Chudney Gray, Eddie Elisma & Osama Al Farhan were doing a big game
esspecially the last 2 quarter over Boufarik player who were lost in the
4th after they were leading till the 3rd quarter after good performance
from Abdelhamid Kaouane and Garouk Djellali wh owere controling in
rebounds and scoring.
In the 3rd quarter, Things turned down to be for the kuwaitis who
succeeded to arrive to their basket safley after the early foul out from
Mourad Boukhalfi and foul truoble of Ismail Kessi which made Chudney
Gray move better in the transition offense and breaking the plans of the
algerian team.
Al Kuwait 81 - WA Boufarik 77 (16-26, 33-41,
60-60 & 81-77) Best scorer in Kuwait club: Chudney Gray (24 points)

RCA Casablanca - Al Shabab The other moroccan representative in the ACC, RCA
Casablanca made a bright win over the Libyan team Al Shabab 63-47.
RCA began with Mustafa Al Khalfi, Murad Al Fangawi, Motopenza, Mounir
Bou Helal & Tiam Doudou, Those 5 players controled on the game in
defense by making zone (2-3) and depending on fastbreaks which gave them
the lead all the game, Al Shabab with their player Mohammed Issa were
trying to close the gap by outside shooting but they did'nt succeed in
that to lose the game by 16 points. RCA Casablanca 63 - Al Shabab 47 (20-10, 32-21,
51-32 & 63-47) Best scorer in RCA Casablanca: Mounir Bou Helal 26 points
Best scorer in Al Shabab: Mohammed Issa 14 points
Ittihad Jeddah - Ittihad Aleppo
In the strongest game in Day 2 of the tournament, Ittihad Jeddah of
Saudi Arabia made a hard win over the Syrian team Itihad Aleppo by only
4 points 87-83 under the command of their Argentinian new haed coach
Daniel Maffei who succeeded in his 1st experiment.
Ittihad began the game with
Marlon Parmer (191-G-80, college:
Ky
Wesleyan), Adel Guhani, Yahia Ibrahim, with Ali Al Maghrabi a& Art
Long under the basket, While from the other side, Itthad played with Ali
Diar Bakerli, Ammar Qassas, Earnest Bell with Salah Al Shawa & Lamine
Diawara under the baskets.
The lead were changed in the whole but Itthad Aleppo began more solid
with good rythem which and that made them make the lead in the 1st
quarter, But Ittihad Jeddah's import Morley Pamrer replied on the syrian
lead by scoring 9 consecutive points to give them the lead at the last
of the quarter 46-43.
Art Long were more effective in the 3rd quarter and the last of the 4th
quarter equaly to Lamine Diwara who were scoring most of his team's
points but that did'nt help him to help his team to win the game which
