Sharjah made history tonight. They claimed their first ever Arab Club Championship title. Sharjah toppled ASS Sale for the crown in Abu Dhabi. Radhouane Slimane (205-C-80) stepped up with 31 points to pace the UAE team to the victory.

The Moroccan team stiffened their defence and cut the distance to 5 points with one quarter remaining. ASS Sale - ASU 74:62 ASS Sale became the first Arab Club Championship finalists. They held off ASU of Jordan in the first semifinal clash on Tuesday. Sharjah - Champville 80:75 Sharjah performed a miraculous comeback to overcome Champville and book the spot in Arab Club Championship Final. They will take on ASS Sale of Morocco tonight. Champville entered the game undefeated but could not capitalize on 22-point lead in the second term losing the game eventually. Cory Bradford (191-G-78, agency: Edge Sports, college: Illinois) knocked down 22 points to lead Sharjah. Champville stunned Sharjah early in the encounter. The Lebanese team limited those to 10 points in the opening quarter and recorded a massive 27:10 lead ten minutes into the game. The margin grew at 22-point mark early in the second frame before Sharjah started to show signs of life. The team from UAE cut the deficit at 8-point mark at halftime 35:43. Sharjah narrowed the gap to just 5 points at the final break 55:60. Soon Sharjah drew things level before Cory Bradford and Radhouane Slimane (205-C-80) dragged Sharjah to the victory. Rashed Alzaabi (190-F-88) provided 20 points in the victory. Fadi Khatib (199-F-79) answered with 34 points for Champville. Riadi picked up the slack in the second frame. They narrowed the deficit at just a single point 38:39 at the interval. Riaydi improved their performance in the third term and eventually spurred in front. Riaydi entered the final quarter up by three points 60:57. But Champville turned things around in the final period. They managed to surge back in front and hung on to secure the sixth straight win at the tournament. Riyadi in the meantime suffered the fourth defeat in a row. Jasmon Youngblood (195-G-84, college: Kent St.) accounted for 22 points, while Mazen Mneimneh (192-G-86) added 14 points and 6 boards in the win. Jean Abed El Nour (197-G/F-83) had 20 points for Riyadi. Nathanel Johnson (199-F-77, college: Louisville) dropped 13 points, collected 6 rebounds and dished out 4 assists in the loss.
