Mono Vampire - Alab Pilipinas 88-83

Mono Vampire held off Alab Pilipinas at home court to even the championship series at 2-2. Mono Vampire forced 26 Alab Pilipinas turnovers. Strangely Alab Pilipinas outrebounded Mono Vampire 46-31 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals and Maltese center Samuel Deguara (223-91) who added 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks during the contest. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American forward Justin Brownlee (197-88, college: St.John's) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Puerto Rican forward Renaldo Balkman (203-84, college: S.Carolina) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Alab Pilipinas - Mono Vampire 102-92 Alab Pilipinas celebrated ABL title. They rallied past Mono Vampire in the decisive fifth game of the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Alab Pilipinas. Mono Vampire managed to win second period 31-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
